Broome Service Center was founded in 1952 by Spires B. Broome, originally as Broome Auto Parts & Service. With the support of his wife Edna, Spires built a permanent 1,600 square-foot shop in 1956 and later expanded into tractor sales and service in the 1960s. Today, the company remains family-owned, with Spires’ son Jim serving as President.
