AAA really needs to reevaluate the companies they contract. On March 31, 2026, they sent Armada Towing (Houston, TX) for my lockout service. I was given a one‑hour ETA, so I went 15 minutes down the road to a gas station. The tech showed up early, called me, and when I told him I’d be back before the ETA, he got an attitude, said he “wasn’t waiting,” and hung up on me. AAA had to re-dispatch someone else, which doubled my wait time — all because this driver couldn’t act professionally. This is unacceptable customer service, and it speaks volumes about the leadership at Armada Towing. I’ll be filing complaints with the BBB and their headquarters, and I want others to be aware of how this company treats people.

Literal angels. Steven came out to assist me at midnight in what was nearly a tornado with insane rains/winds. Shout out to dispatcher Katie? For the quick and friendly service. Angela both of them.

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!! My daughter was in an accident on I5. She called this company to tow her car about 1-2 miles to our house, they told her THEY WERE REQUIRED to tow it to their tow yard and they would take her to the exit off the freeway and drop her there as they couldn't take her the 1 mile to our house. After she convinced the driver NOT to leave her on the corner of the freeway exit - he told her the only way for her to ride would be in the car itself - ON TOP OF THE FLAT BED he was towing her car with (pretty sure that's illegal)..... While getting insurance to go pick up her car to take to a shop for repairs, we have a financing hurdle - they charge $1000 PER DAY to store this car! Really? $1000 per day? It went to a residential lot in Bothell, no security fencing - looks like a guy with some land, that decided to store crashed vehicles on his property. Contract they had her sign has NOTHING about fees/costs/storage anywhere on it. Insurance negotiators are trying to contact the company and they will not return calls. Can't say it enough - DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!!!!!!!!!

I called this company earlier this year. Spoke with Robert Jackson. He informed me it would be 45 minutes before they can start. Heading my way. Paid him through Cash app $175 was able to get my truck running 10 minutes later called back told him I didn’t need his services more than happy for him to take a finders fee since the truck hadn’t started heading my way yet. He informed me that he doesn’t do business like that and would give me a refund three months later still no refund thumbs down don’t use these guys their crooks. they’re making me put a star in order to submit, but they don’t deserve the one Star.

Kudos to Michael who rescued me & my car this past Monday, 3/23/26. I was quite impressed by his thorough method used in towing my car. He handled everything just like a pro. Also, I was quite impressed by Michael's wonderful personality in relating to me. While waiting on Michael to arrive, I was so worried & fearful but when Michael arrived and after interacting with him that all went away. From that point on, I felt so much more relaxed because of Michael. He made sure I arrived home safe and sound. Please let Michael know how much he is appreciated and please "HOLD ONTO HIM!!!!!" All the other negative reviews for Stew's on here is correct and not exaggerated. My car battery died this winter of 2025, and I called Stew's to simply just jumpstart my car. I live only A MILE AWAY, and these robbers charged me 85 dollars, cash only, which I was only too lucky to have on me; 85 dollars for a 2 mile round trip for them. Outrageous! They didn't even give me a price quote over the phone. When I called them the next day to complain, the owner literally laughed at me over the phone because I said that a jumpstart should cost a lot less than 85 bucks..the audacity of that guy!! After mentioning to him that his prices are highway robbery and in bad faith, especially in a small town, and with the bad economy, and the short distance of the ride, he told me he didn't care..not at all while he continued to laugh like a hyena over the phone. Can you believe that?! So, I drove over there to his place and had it out with him. At first, he actually had the same crappy attitude as he did on the phone with this blank, careless and cavalier look on his face; no consideration or gratefulness in having customers give him a living. It was absolutely SHOCKING to witness in my 54 years of living! He looked even proud about his attitude which showed me that he gets away with this behavior only because HE CAN...because he knows there are few places in this small town to get towing services, so he shamefully takes advantage of people. Whatever happened to the brotherhood of man? Anyway, I stood up to him and told him in my New Jersey way that he was greedy, flippant in his attitude and practicing in bad faith. When I told him he shouldn't laugh at a customer, he said he didn't care, as if he was doing auto work just for the fun of it and not robbing people blind. I did not roll over and take his crap though. After trying to knock some sense and reason into this guy's head, he finally relented and apologized for laughing, though it came off condescending as he mentioned I should look up the prices for jump starting a car, implying that they all cost around 85 dollars. It took me not even a minute to find another place that charges 50 bucks for the same service. Folks, do not even think of going to Stew's. That guy will steal you silly and have a smile on his face while doing it. STAY AWAY FROM STEW'S AT ALL COSTS!

DO NOT USE THIS COMPANY!! This company was storing my son's vehicle after a wreck (which is in his dad's name). I called ahead that our mechanic was coming from out of town to look at it and they confirmed the appointment (no mention of needed paperwork). My mechanic also called separately and their office representative authorized him to come (didn't mention anything about having the owner with him or paperwork). My mechanic has been to 30+ similar businesses and never had an issue accessing a vehicle for an outside look only and offered to let them go with him to look outside but not touch anything. He basically needed to see if the radiator and drip pan were damaged. My mechanic drove from Charlotte and they refused access for a quick outside look. I was there with my ID (same last name) and we spent 2 hours on the phone with my son's dad (registered owner/phone #) who was trying to get an online form filled out. The form never went through. He tried 12 times. He consulted with the IT guy and had no success and they still refused us a 5 minute outside look. There were zero security issues as they had met my son and his dad, but refused access due to their incompetent system and untrained employees who scheduled the appointment. They had zero concern that it cost me hundreds of extra dollars (on top of their extravagant fees) scheduling my mechanic to drive 3 hours round trip and then denying access. They over-charge, rely on poor IT, have uneducated employees and are the rudest, most incompetent people I have ever dealt with.
